End User License Agreement (EULA)

Please read this End User License Agreement carefully before playing this game. By installing or using this game, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

1. Acceptance of Terms

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Kintsugi Games ("we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of this game ("the Game"). By accessing or using the Game, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Agreement in its entirety.

2. Data Collection

To improve your experience and the overall quality of the Game, we automatically collect certain anonymized data during your gameplay sessions. This data includes:

In-game actions and behaviors — interactions, decisions, and actions performed during gameplay.
Progression and statistics — level completion, achievements unlocked, and overall progress.
Session and playtime data — session duration, number of sessions, and play frequency.

All data collected is strictly anonymized. We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or Steam profile details in connection with this data.

3. Purpose of Data Collection

The data collected is used exclusively for internal purposes, including:

Understanding player behavior to improve game design and balance.
Identifying bugs, technical issues, and areas for improvement.
Informing future content updates and development decisions.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party. All collected data remains strictly internal and is used solely by Kintsugi Games for the purposes described in Section 3.

5. Your Rights & Data Deletion

While data collection is an integral part of the Game and cannot be disabled in-game, you have the right to request the deletion of any data associated with your play sessions.

If you wish to opt-out of our game analytics, once you launched the game once, go to your /AppData/Localow/KintsugiCompany/Kintsugi/SaveSystem/analytics_settings.json and change the 0 by one. If you also wish to delete your existing data, type 2 instead, or contact us at kintsugigame.contact@gmail.com.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we collect against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. As all data is anonymized prior to storage, the risk of personal harm from any unauthorized access is minimal.

7. Children's Privacy

If this Game is accessible to users under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), we represent that the anonymous data we collect does not constitute personal data and therefore does not trigger parental consent requirements under applicable law. However, if you are a parent or guardian and have concerns, please contact us at the address above.

8. Changes to This Agreement

We reserve the right to update or modify this Agreement at any time. Changes will be communicated via an update notice within the Game or on our Steam store page. Continued use of the Game after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
